Our story
Our story starts in 1988 when a young Karen Thompson opened her first specialty boutique in Peddler’s Village: Lace Silhouettes Lingerie. Her company has since grown into a family of ten unique retail brands across sixteen stores.
Still privately owned, LSL Brands offers an ever-evolving mix of product and designer labels while remaining true to the ethos instilled in the founding store over 37 years ago. Our retail experience ranges from brick-and-mortar business to pop-up stores, wholesale lines, and e-commerce websites. LSL Brands’ mission is to pioneer a better retail future, where customers are treated like guests and employees can build a lifelong career. We believe strong communities mean strong business and proudly support over 25 local charities every year.

In each store you can find your very own personal stylist. We’re dedicated to providing you with professional assistance and advice. When shopping in any of our store locations you will always find high quality, reasonably priced merchandise, a comfortable shopping atmosphere, and knowledgeable, friendly customer care.

Karen finds that in today's climate, not everyone wants to be in the retail business. But for Karen Thompson, hospitality in a retail brick-and-mortar setting is what she loves to do – and the more the merrier! This 36-year business journey has been one of the greatest rides of her life, and she looks forward to all that the future holds.
